UC Berkeley’s Dance Studies Working Group (DSWG) is supported by the Townsend Center for the Humanities and is coordinated by graduate students in UC Berkeley’s department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies. We welcome all dancers, choreographers, artists, activists, scholars and other community members who are interested in dance practice and theory. We gather for meetings and events on UC Berkeley campus twice a month during the academic year where we engage in discussions on a variety of dance-related topics.
